GPL is committed to achieving an excellent environmental management regime. Hence, we shall;

• 1) Set targets and goals aimed at protecting and preventing damage to environment where projects are executed.
• 2) Promote a culture of operation in a safe manner to avoid spills, leaks and accidental discharge of any polluting substance or material.
• 3) Limit the quantity of waste and other discharges while handling/disposing of them in reasonably acceptable manner.
• 4) Assess the environmental consequence of all our actitivities on the local environment in other to limit pollution.
• 5) Operate and maintain pollution contingency plans capable of responding to emergencies.
• 6) Document all environmental accidents as well as review environmental management laws and regulations.
